Nimbus® is extracted from the sticks of Kerria lacca (species of insect in the Kerriidae family).
Initially, shellac is derived from dead insects. Then left once lac mud (a waste product of lac processing), which had no utilities otherwise, is used to extract Lac dye Nimbus®
Lac has had an ancient connection with natural dyeing since 250 AD all over Bhutan, India, Nepal, China etc.
Nimbus® Natural Dye provides Red and Violet colour and changes as per the pretreatment auxiliary dyeing process.
Dyeing & Printing Method
Dyeing can be done through Garment Dyeing, Jigger Dyeing, Yarn Dyeing (Hank Form), Rope Dyeing, and Fiber Dyeing.
Printing can be done through Rotary Printing, Knife Coating, Flat Screen Printing, Block Printing etc.
